Faculty of Teacher’s Training is a faculty of Handia Post Graduate College Handia, Allahabad. The College is situated on the Allahabad-Varanasi national Highway at Handia Tehsil headquarter. This is 38 km. away from Allahabad in the east and 85 km. from Varanasi city in the west. The nearest railway station is NER Handia Khas and college is half km. away from the station and 200 m. away from the bus station Handia. Dr. Devraj Singh, a political leader, adept in social engineering, as educationist as well as an eminent medical doctor, is the founder of the college. Dr. V.K. Singh, young energetic, prominent medical practicenor is a present manager of the college. Faculty of teachers Training was establishted permanentely on July 1, 1981 with the recognition of B.Ed Aided Course in Handia Degree College Handia, Allahabad. (G.O. Letter No. E-1979/G.S. Dated july 4, 1981 from under secretary for secretary to the chancellor addresed to the registrar Kanpur University Kanpur).

              Handia Degree College was affiliated to Kanpur University Kanpur on 14 Aug.1973. The name of Handia Degree College Handia, Allahabad was changed to Handia Post Graduate College Handia Allahabad, previously affiliated to Kanpur University kanpur, has now been affiliated to V.B.S. At Postgraduate level under SF- M.Ed Course had been granted permanent affiliation on July 01, 2003. (पत्रांक सख्या ई-2729/जी0एस0 दिनांक 03.09.2003.)।

              At Graduation level B.Ed-SF Course was permanentely affiliated with the recognition by NCTE and Government Of Utter Pradesh on July 01, 2006 (NRC/NCTE/F-3/UP-744/2003/3027 and (पत्रांक सख्या ई0 सं0/1076/जी0एस0 दिनांक 02.08.2006)।
